Thankful Thursday! As a coach for over 25 years now, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing people from all walks of life including many pre and post natal clients.

As a mom myself that had my own challenges during my pregnancy- most notable the extra weight that took time and effort for me to lose - there is something extra special about supporting Mamas in their health and fitness. Not to mention the joy of contributing to welcoming little ones into the world. It takes a village and I am grateful to support women (and men) through what can be challenging times and transitions in life.

Their strength, resilience and to commitment to their health and fitness journey’s inspire me every day. I’m not sure how I got so lucky to do what I do but I am grateful every day to all of my clients past, present and those to come! Love and gratitude friends, wishing you all a beautiful day!

Thankful Thursday! As a coach for over 25 years now, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing people from all walks of life. Morning stretches and mobility often end with time spent in deep squat. It loosens these middle aged hips, opens my pelvis and low back and allows me to move freely through the day.

I don’t experience back pain and credit these consistent practices as well as my strength training for a big part of that. I am all about proactive vs reactive care - making time to care for yourSelf in small ways can add up to big changes in how you feel in the present moment as well as the future. Lay the foundations today that your older self will thank you for tomorrow.

Happy thanksgiving Canadian friends, what are you feeling thankful for today? My gratitude list is long but I’ll share what I’m most thankful for today - rest.

As someone who used to be a great sleeper, peri-menopause has been doing a number on my sleep quality. Work and life has also been busy. This weekend I have allowed myself to rest. be. So grateful.

Sometimes it IS that simple.

One of the hardest parts of healing and transformation - in body or mind - is staying the course ESPECIALLY when life is hard.

I’m one of the weird ones that feels like the gym is my adult playground, It has helped me lose post-partum weight, manage autoimmune illness, improve my mental health and help me as I move through the midlife transitions of peri-menopause. It’s no wonder I’m a coach for others - I BELIEVE in its ability to help us heal and overcome the challenges that life inevitably throws our way. I am living proof.

If it’s all feeling hard for you at the moment I promise there is good stuff on the other side, stay patient, consistent, kind with yourself and keep going. As always reach out if I can help you along your journey. Wishing you all a beautiful day friends!

Hello September!! Welcoming the new month with a morning flow…as we move towards fall - and the new moon on Monday - it’s a great time to reflect inward and set intentions. Yoga, meditation, nature time all help me settle into my true Self (not the false ideas of the ego) and offer up clarity on the things I’d like to invite into my life.
