You've made time for everyone else. But when was the last time you made time for your own health? 🍂
Fall has a way of bringing us back into busy routines. Between work, family, appointments, and everything else on your calendar, it's easy to push your own wellbeing to the bottom of the list.
But if you're living with chronic or recurrent UTIs, taking care of your bladder deserves to be part of your routine, too.
Here are 4 simple things you can do this week:
📓 Start tracking your symptoms. Keep a journal of when symptoms occur, possible triggers, and how you've responded to previous treatments.
💧 Check in on your hydration. Make drinking water a regular part of your day and pay attention to beverages that may cause bladder irritation.
🚽 Don't ignore your bladder. Take regular bathroom breaks instead of holding your urine through a busy day.
🩺 Get prepared. Gather previous test results, treatment information, and questions to discuss at your next healthcare appointment.
These small steps won't replace medical treatment for an active UTI, but they can help you better understand your symptoms, build supportive habits, and feel more prepared to advocate for your health.
At You've Got This Clinic, we believe informed patients are empowered patients. Our multidisciplinary team works with people living with chronic and recurrent UTIs to understand their symptoms and develop personalized approaches to care.
💛 This fall, make yourself a priority, too.
