Beacon Hill Park
My friend Tam Bachalo and I had a wonderful walk this morning.
We were fortunate to hear the Nader Band of the Royal Navy perform a rendition of the “Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond”
I am seldom homesick for my hometown but with today being Fathers Day, I have been reminiscing about my childhood and how fortunate I was to have good parents.
I felt emotional listening to this as we lived fairly close to Loch Lomond.
All is well. I am fortunate to live in Victoria (across the road from Beacon Hill Park) and blessed that I can be a hands on Grandma to an almost 3 year old and a 7 week old baby.
Today from my veranda this beautiful huge rainbow captivated me.
This morning I experienced some ocean therapy while walking with Tam Bachalo and Mary McCallum.
Had an invigorating walk the along the ocean front today. It was windy and the mountains are in the background.
