Julie Paul, RMT Registered Massage Therapist in Victoria, BC. I’ve been a registered massage therapist since 1991, and have practiced in BC, Ontario, and Quebec.

I was also a practical instructor at massage therapy colleges in both Victoria and Ottawa from 2004-2015. My focus is on the whole person; I enjoy helping patients decrease stress and anxiety, and manage acute and chronic conditions such as headaches, repetitive strain injuries, posture-related concerns, arthritis, etc., through a combination of deep tissue, trigger point therapy and Swedish massage techniques. Most extended health plans cover massage therapy from a Registered Massage Therapist.

It’s the official release date of Whiny Baby today! Welcome, little one. ☺️ A huge thank you to all involved in bringing this book to the world. Firstly to everyone at my press, McGill-Queen's University Press and especially editor Carolyn Smart, who made this book better with her insightful edits. Thanks, too, to cover designer David Drummond—the image is a pic of the cross on Mount Royal in Montreal 💕.

A special thanks to my writing allies, near and far—friends, writing groups, family. You’re the best! And a big thanks to poetry lovers and readers—it wouldn’t be possible without you. 🙏🏼💓

It’s also Day 1 of my little tour—you can hear poems from WB in Toronto tonight at Art Bar Poetry Series: Stedmond Pardy, Julie Paul, and Khashayar Mohammadi.

And in Ottawa at Perfect Books Ottawa on Wed. April 17th along with Anita Lahey! Then, in Montreal at the open mic at Thur. April 18th, & at Accent Open Mic on Sun. April 21st. Then, back to the coast for Mon. April 29th in Vancouver at Off the Traccks cafe with Miranda Pearson, & Wed. May 1st with Miranda at Munro's Books in Victoria. 💓

Hope to catch you out there!
