Jumping Jacks (30 seconds total): Start by standing with your feet together and arms by your sides. Jump your feet out wide while simultaneously raising your arms overhead. Jump back to the starting position and repeat for 20 seconds with a 10 second rest. ๐ Low impact: step your feet out one at a time 2. Squats (30 seconds total): Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and lower into a squat position and return to standing. Repeat for 20 seconds with a 10 second rest. 3. Mountain Climbers (30 seconds total): Begin in a high plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders. Bring one knee towards your chest, then quickly switch legs, bringing the other knee in. Continue alternating and moving at a quick pace for 20 seconds with a 10 second rest. ๐ Less Intense: place your hands on a desk, bench or wall instead of the floor. 4. Fake Skipping (30 seconds total): Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms relaxed at your sides. Begin by hopping on the balls of your feet, lifting your heels off the ground. As you hop, swing your arms in a skipping motion, as if you were holding a skipping rope. Repeat for 20 seconds with a 10 second rest. Remember to warm up before starting this routine and cool down afterwards. Adjust the intensity and duration of each exercise to suit your fitness level. Time for your Saturday Stretch! We donโt often think about the front of our neck when it comes to stretching. What can cause pain? Poor posture. Prolonged sitting. History of whiplash. ๐ค๐ผdeep neck flexors are 4 muscles. ๐ค๐ผthey provide stability of the cervical spine. ๐ค๐ผthink cervicogenic headaches. In this sequence, stretch the deep neck flexors (because it feels good) but then massage the back of the neck followed by isometric neck press.
