How does laser tattoo removal work?

Q-Switch laser tattoo removal uses highly concentrated pulses of laser energy to target the pigment within a tattoo. The laser breaks the tattoo pigment into tiny particles, which are then naturally carried away and cleared by your body over time.

Because your body needs time to process and eliminate the fragmented pigment, treatments are spaced approximately 8 weeks apart. Multiple sessions may be needed depending on factors such as the tattoo’s size, colour, depth, age, and the individual’s response to treatment.
