Well now this explains ALOT!!
🔥 CHIRON RETURNS TO ARIES. 🔥
THE FINAL CHAPTER OF A NINE YEAR WOUND.
Tomorrow, September 17th Chiron returns to Aries.
And this one matters, because Chiron is not beginning something new. It is returning to finish something old.
Chiron first entered Aries on April 17th, 2018. After briefly retrograding back into Pisces, it returned to Aries on February 18th, 2019, and it has been working through this territory ever since.
On June 19th this year, Chiron finally crossed into Ta**us and gave us our first glimpse of the next chapter. But it wasn’t finished with Aries.
On September 17th, retrograde Chiron crosses back over that threshold for one final passage. It will remain in Aries until April 14th, 2027.
After that, this chapter closes.
And it will not return in our lifetimes in quite the same way.
So look back.
Who were you in 2018?
Not simply where were you living, who were you with or what were you doing. Who were you?
What did you believe about yourself? What were you still tolerating? Whose approval mattered? Where were you making yourself smaller? What did you think love required from you? What did you believe you had to prove?
And what has happened since?
Because Chiron in Aries has been working upon one of the most primal wounds in the zodiac: the wound of the self.
Aries is I AM.
Identity. Instinct. Will. Courage. Desire. Autonomy. The right to occupy your own life without apologising for being there.
And Chiron has been moving through that territory for years.
For some, it came through rejection. For others, abandonment. Betrayal. Divorce. Family fractures. Friendships ending. Being misunderstood. Being overlooked. Being told you were too much.
Or spending years being everything to everybody until you could no longer hear yourself beneath everybody else’s needs.
Some discovered how easily love could become self-abandonment. Some discovered that being needed was not the same as being loved. Some discovered that loyalty without reciprocity becomes depletion.
And some had to lose people they never imagined living without before they understood how much of themselves they had surrendered to keep those people close.
That is Chiron in Aries.
The wound asks:
Who am I after this?
The medicine eventually answers:
More myself than I was before it.
🔥 THE PAST MAY RETURN.
Between September and April, do not be surprised when old emotional material begins moving again.
People. Dreams. Songs. Dates. Places. Memories you thought you had finished with.
A relationship from years ago may suddenly occupy your thoughts. An old family wound may surface through a present conversation. Someone may contact you. You may dream repeatedly of somebody you haven’t seen for years.
Or a situation unfolding now may produce an emotional reaction far larger than the present moment appears to deserve.
Pay attention.
Chiron does not always bring the original wound back. Sometimes it brings back the frequency of it.
The same feeling. The same dynamic. The same choice. The same crossroads wearing another face.
And suddenly you are standing before something that once broke your heart, except you are no longer the person who first stood there.
That is where the healing becomes visible.
You respond differently.
You no longer chase the explanation. You no longer beg for clarity from somebody committed to confusion. You no longer translate inconsistency into potential. You no longer mistake intensity for intimacy.
You no longer abandon your own knowing simply because somebody else doesn’t understand it.
You no longer make another person’s inability to love you properly evidence that you were difficult to love.
That is not hardness.
That is integration.
🔥 THE STRONG ONE HAS A WOUND TOO.
There is another piece of Chiron in Aries that deserves to be spoken about.
The person who learned to survive by becoming fiercely independent. The capable one. The dependable one. The one everybody calls when something goes wrong. The one who keeps moving. The one who knows how to carry the weight.
For some, independence was never simply a personality trait.
It became armour.
You learned not to ask because people disappointed you. You learned to solve it yourself because help didn’t come. You learned to remain composed because somebody had to. You learned to say I’m fine long before you actually were.
And somewhere along the way, strength became an identity.
These final months may ask a different question:
Can you remain powerful without having to carry everything alone?
Because healing does not always look like becoming stronger. Sometimes it looks like finally being able to receive.
Love. Help. Consistency. Tenderness. Someone remembering. Someone showing up before you ask. Someone holding space without requiring you to collapse first.
And strangely, receiving those things can expose the wound more deeply than their absence ever did, because suddenly you realise how long you lived without them.
🔥 RELATIONSHIPS WILL SHOW US WHAT HAS CHANGED.
Chiron’s return to Aries sits directly across the Aries Libra axis of self and other.
So relationships become mirrors.
Not merely romantic relationships. Family. Friendships. Business relationships. Every place where I meets you.
Where did compromise become self-erasure? Where did compassion become overgiving? Where did understanding somebody else’s wounds become an excuse for allowing them to repeatedly wound you?
Where did you remain because leaving felt like failure? Where did you keep explaining yourself to somebody determined to misunderstand you?
And where are you no longer willing to do it?
There is enormous medicine in recognising that something which would once have consumed you for three days now takes three minutes.
That somebody else’s withdrawal no longer immediately makes you question your worth. That you can hear no without translating it into there is something wrong with me.
That you can love somebody and still choose yourself. That you can miss somebody without reopening the door. That you can forgive without restoring access.
That is healing too.
🔥 AND THEN COMES DESIRE.
This may be one of the most beautiful parts of Chiron’s final return.
You may begin wanting things again.
Really wanting them.
Love. Creativity. Travel. A different home. A different life. A calling you abandoned. A version of yourself you thought had disappeared.
Because disappointment does something peculiar to desire.
After enough hurt, we sometimes stop wanting, not because the desire has gone, but because wanting it hurts.
So we call ourselves realistic. Independent. Content. Finished with it.
And then one day the desire moves again.
Pay attention when it does.
Something you once prayed for may return in another form.
The relationship may not be with the person you once imagined. The opportunity may arrive through another door. The life may look nothing like the picture you held eight years ago.
But the essence of the desire survived.
And perhaps now you are finally capable of receiving it without abandoning yourself to have it.
🔥 WHO WILL FEEL THIS MOST?
All twelve signs have lived Chiron in Aries somewhere within their chart.
But Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn Sun, Moon and Rising placements may experience this final passage particularly strongly because Chiron is moving through the cardinal axis.
Aries: identity, autonomy and the reclamation of self.
Cancer: emotional safety, family patterns and the places where caring for others eclipsed caring for yourself.
Libra: relationships, reciprocity and the difference between compromise and self-abandonment.
Capricorn: responsibility, strength and the burden of always being the capable one.
But wherever Aries sits in your natal chart is where this story has been unfolding since 2018.
And now we reach its final pages.
On April 14th, 2027, Chiron enters Ta**us again and an entirely different healing cycle begins.
Worth. The body. Money. Security. Resources. Enoughness.
But we are not there yet.
First, Chiron has one last journey through I AM.
One final retrieval. One final meeting with the versions of ourselves who survived what we thought would destroy us. One final opportunity to recognise that the person standing here now is not the person who entered this transit in 2018.
So when the past rises during these coming months, don’t immediately assume you’ve gone backwards.
Look again.
Sometimes the wound returns because you are finally strong enough to meet it without becoming it.
Sometimes a person returns so you can see that their power over you has gone.
Sometimes an old grief rises because it is ready to leave through a different door.
And sometimes Spirit allows us to stand at an old threshold once more simply so we can recognise:
I would not choose now what I chose then.
That is how you know something has healed.
Chiron’s final passage through Aries is not asking us to become the person we were before the wound.
That person no longer exists.
It is asking us to become the person who carries the wisdom of what happened without continuing to carry the wound as an identity.
You can remember without returning. You can love without abandoning yourself. You can receive without earning it. You can desire without fear deciding what you are allowed to have.
And you can finally belong to yourself without apology.
From September 17th until April 14th, Chiron gives us one final passage through the fire.
Not to reopen everything we survived.
To show us who walked out of it.
