1. The Real Witches Craft by Kate West
This book was my first and still my favourite. I like it because it teaches you the mechanics, gives you exercises to get to know each of the elements and gives you tools and framework to excel in your practice.
2. Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs by Scott Cunningham
This is the most useful book for spell crafting and use of herbs in your practice. I can’t recommend this one enough for a magical practice.
3. The Finding of the Third Eye by Vera Stanley Alder
This book found me in the beginning of my practice and the content is so rich. Vera spent years of her life compiling many different metaphysical and spiritual principles from many different cultures into one book and the depth of the knowledge is incredible.
(This may be an older copy but the newer versions have a pink cover)
