What’s funny about this day was it was just an average morning after my 12-hour night shift at the factory. While quitting had been on my mind, I really had no concrete plans, let alone know that I would get that call from my friend a couple of days later, encouraging me to take that leap of faith and trust in myself and my dreams. We would then embark on a journey together across the country that would change my life forever.
May his sweet soul rest in peace ❤️🩹🕊️
I packed up everything, quit my job, and we headed out west to Vancouver. This felt like a second chance at life, a chance to really connect with myself and find out who I truly was and what I wanted. To finally take my life and health into my own hands. That’s when my interest in becoming a nutritionist started…
Lately life hasn’t felt fair… so reminders like this are so so powerful.
And I post this as a reminder that nothing I mean NOTHING is out of reach. Stop letting people put fear into your plans and visions, stop waiting for validation, and keep in mind your current situation is not your final destination.
There is and will always be better out there, so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Keep your head up, keep up the faith, and surround yourself with people who truly believe in you. I promise it makes all the difference. But most importantly, never give up on yourself 🤍
Also a huge shoutout to Peter Kash & Blake Carter back when it was flow 93.5 🫶🏾💫
