Frozen shoulder during perimenopause or menopause? Your hormones may be part of the conversation. 👀
If your shoulder pain and stiffness aren’t improving with physical therapy, ask your doctor whether hormonal changes could be relevant to your care. Estrogen may affect joint and connective tissue health, though hormone therapy isn’t a proven cure for frozen shoulder.

Does hormone replacement therapy (HRT) increase the risk of heart disease—or does timing change the picture?

Early findings from the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) created years of fear around HRT. However, later analysis found that starting hormone therapy earlier was associated with very different cardiovascular outcomes than originally reported.
