What I love most about my job is the diversity of tasks :). I consider it an extraordinary privilege to be able to advise people about their lives, careers, and desired paths, and then the next day join a retreat with executives, enjoying an apéro surrounded by the Alps. The day after that, I might be on a boat in Basel, cruising along the Rhine and listening to live Italian music while employees of a company prepare pizza together with a pizzaiolo. On another day, we might take the cogwheel railway up Mount Rigi and admire the scenery as it becomes increasingly breathtaking, until the world no longer seems to make sense, the sky merges with the earth, and the water turns into a mirror, leaving you unsure of what is above and what is below. :) In the following days, we travel by train to Arosa for a seminar on communication and team-building activities that help employees build marble runs together and move a giant XXL ball as a team.
At the same time, in Zurich, a large law firm is hosting a week dedicated to employee health, which we are supporting, just as we supported, last month and three months ago, companies with thousands of employees in preventing health issues and educating people about workplace well-being through our preventive health and wellness checks. This week we are providing corporate massages in Zurich, and next week in other cities. We have more ideas than we can possibly implement; sometimes I can’t sleep at night because there are simply too many ideas :).
Yet I love what I do with all my heart. Some clients are enthusiastic, others demanding. No matter how good we are, and we truly give everything we have, there is always something that does not go perfectly. Still, our ambition is for things to go almost perfectly :). And none of this would be possible without the absolutely exceptional team of collaborators, partners, and employees by my side.
