Mornings are chaotic enough with 4 kids that I don’t need to make breakfast complicated! We focus on nutrition and of course delicious recipes that my kids love.
Here are 5 easy, high-protein/fiber breakfasts we actually rotate through our week. Every single one uses 5 ingredients or less and takes under 10 minutes to make.

Waffles/ Pancakes (same recipe 💪🏻)
2 bananas
2 eggs
1 tbsp chia seeds
3/4 cup oat flour
Blend and pour into waffle maker!
(Sometimes I use pumpkin puree instead of bananas)

Chocolate smoothie
1 frozen banana
1tbsp peanut butter
1/2 serving chocolate protein powder
1 tsp chia or flax
1 cup milk
Blend!

Crepes
3 eggs
3/4 cup milk or water
1 cup flour
Blend and cook!

Save this post for your Sunday grocery run! 🛒✨

You have to try these healthy cottage cheese brioche! Theyre fluffy, packed with protein, and take a fraction of the time of regular bread. No kneading, no yeast, and they are a perfect snack for your kids!

1. I stick with the outer aisles of the supermarket. Fresh produce, organic meats, fiber and protein at all meals.

2. I exercise every day, and lift heavy 2-3x a week.

3. Yearly functional testing and supplements based on my needs.

4. I protect my sleep like it’s my job but with 4 kids it’s not perfect!

5. I keep my inflammation at nearly 0.

6. Water and food before coffee in the a.m. This one’s hard for me but it keeps the jitters away.

7. Chemicals and plastics do not have a place in our home!

I’ve lived in Switzerland for over a decade but grew up in Southern California. I’ve seen all the wellness trends from near and far, and even used to bring back a luggage filled with my health food items that I couldn’t find in Switzerland. Up until a few years ago, finding almond butter, healthier granola options or chia seeds was impossible! What’s the difference?
1. Markets in LA offer an experiential destination where consumers discover what is trending in wellness. Think modern apothecaries, juice bars with functional ingredients and organic hot food bars.
2. Supermarkets such as Erewhon and Laurel Supply are luxury spots, they are so aesthetically pleasing, and beauty sells. Swiss organic staples are federally price protected. You won’t be finding $23 smoothies, $9 water bottles, and $19 for one fancy strawberry.
3. LA health food thrives on hyper-speed innovation, constantly introducing rare adaptogens, functional tonics, and algorithmic trends. Swiss grocery culture relies on national organic standards (like Bio Suisse) favoring traditional, locally sourced whole foods over hyper-processed wellness novelties.
4. In LA, a $23 smoothie sells because consumers are buying into an aspirational, influencer-backed lifestyle brand. In Geneva, people would find this financially impractical, and a marketing gimmick. And believe me, groceries are very expensive in Switzerland! There, simplicity works.

Our home has been through its fair share of illnesses over the last decade. Fall is here, viruses season has commenced, and with all the experience I have as a mom of 4, health coach, and my very crunchy ways, these 5 things we do on repeat are my tried and true ways to nurse my kids (and myself!) back to health. I have learned SO much from our incredible chiropractor, homeopath, my RD, and just from personal experience!
Hope some of these tips can help you!

Take your trusty sourdough bread recipe, cut it in half (or not, I just didn’t have time), let it ferment over night, cut it into four equal pieces of dough, shape, score and bake!

That’s 1-2 days of keeping a starter at its peak
2 hours of stretch and folds
The rest of the day to rise
24h of overnight cold proofing
And a lot of TLC 🍞🍞🍞
