No two trainings are ever the same ✨
You can plan a training. You can prepare the techniques, the anatomy, the structure, the demonstrations.
But you can never really plan what happens in between.
The unexpected questions. The moments when something suddenly makes sense. The laughter during practice. The things that don’t quite work the first time. The conversations that continue long after the session is over.
And all those little moments when people start trusting their own hands a little more.
Our week in Portugal The Shanti Space was full of all of this.
I loved watching people find their own way into the work. Some came with years of experience, others were just beginning. Everyone brought something different, and everyone had something to discover.
And that’s probably one of my favourite parts of teaching: You can share what you’ve learned over many years, but you never quite know what a group will make of it. Every training has its own character. Its own rhythm. Its own little surprises.
These are just a few moments from our week together.
Intense in all kinds of ways, sometimes challenging, often beautiful. And very much alive.
Thank you, everyone, for making this one what it was. ❤️
I am looking to the next trainings during this winter season in Mexico, and to being back The Shanti Space in Portugal twice next year: 23 - 30 May and 5 - 11 September, 2027
