Founders need direct investor feedback so they know if their message is clear and will attract investors, and then how to refine and adjust their pitch. Yet most investor interactions usually end with no information.

At Sanabil Accelerator by Orbit, we brought our founders into Investor Connect 1:1, connecting them with local VCs for focused conversations.

Each founder pitched directly to Anas Alsalamah (Oryx Fund), Aljawhara Alotaibi (Sadu Capital), Abdulrahman Alhashim (Raed Ventures), and Haifa Assad (Imad Ventures), and sat down to discuss their businesses in depth.

Thank you to the investors for making time to engage directly with the founders, asking honest questions and sharing candid, actionable feedback and what you would need to see next.

Building for Saudi Arabia? Applications for the next batch of Sanabil Accelerator by Orbit are now open.

Incorporation isn’t market entry. Operational readiness is.

For founders entering Saudi Arabia, incorporating a company is only the first step. The real challenge is getting the right structure, licenses and processes in place to start operating.

Across two separate sessions with Sanabil Accelerator by Orbit founders, Luay Aljarba of منجم تطوير الأعمال | BIM Ventures and Karim Samakie of the Ministry of Investment covered different parts of the setup journey. Luay focused on how founders should approach the process, while Karim went deeper into the practical steps, requirements, costs and common bottlenecks:

☑️ The process is connected. The steps to establish and operate a business in Saudi are linked. Getting the early requirements right helps founders move through licensing, registration, visas, banking and hiring without unnecessary delays.

☑️ Early decisions matter. Your business activities and entity structure can affect the licenses and approvals you need later. Getting these decisions right early can prevent friction down the road.

☑️ Market entry requires more than incorporation. Founders need to be ready to hire, bank and operate locally before they can fully enter the market.

Legal and operational setup is part of your go-to-market strategy. Capital gets you into a market; local expertise helps you operate in it.

If you're building and thinking seriously about scaling in Saudi Arabia, applications for the next batch of Sanabil Accelerator by Orbit are now open.
