💔 UPDATE ON LITTLE SIBU – 7 DAYS AT THE VET, AND STILL NO END IN SIGHT… 🥺🐾
Our little Sibu is still fighting. And our hearts are breaking. 💔
Today, we went to visit our precious little Sibu at the vet. 🥺❤️
Seeing him again was so emotional. This tiny boy has already been through so much, and knowing that he still can't come home is heartbreaking.
Six days. Six long days that this tiny boy has been at the vet. Six days of struggling, six days of uncertainty, and still no end in sight.
And the heartbreaking truth is… Sibu still cannot p*e on his own. 😢
The opening of his urethra at the tip of his p***s has become so severely narrowed and closed over that urine can no longer pass normally.
Something so simple, something every living being needs to survive, has become a life-threatening struggle for this tiny kitten.
He desperately needs further veterinary treatment, and his bladder must be manually emptied by the veterinary team because he cannot urinate on his own. He also needs a catheter to help him empty his bladder. And we still don't know when he will finally be able to go home. 💔
He already had such a difficult start in life — his mother was poisoned. After being bottle-fed around the clock, Sibu had finally made it through those difficult first weeks of his life.
Instead of enjoying his kittenhood, he is now spending his days at the vet, fighting for something as basic as being able to p*e. 🥺
And now we are facing another heartbreaking reality…
💔 His veterinary bill has already exceeded $400 — and that doesn't even include medications, surgery or additional procedures!
And what makes this even more overwhelming is that our wonderful vet has already given us a special discounted rate to help us through this situation. We are incredibly grateful for his kindness and everything he is doing for little Sibu. ❤️
But despite his generosity, the costs keep rising with every passing day, and we don't know how much more treatment this little boy will need.
We are doing everything we can, but we simply cannot manage these expenses alone.
