NØKKEN — THE DARK SPIRIT OF THE WATER

Sophie traveled all the way from Norway to begin a new full sleeve project inspired by Nøkken, one of the most mysterious and sinister creatures of Scandinavian folklore.

An ancient spirit lurking beneath the dark waters, known for luring souls into the depths, where darkness and death await.

This is just the beginning of a new Black & Grey project, where Nordic mythology meets the dark and sinister vision of BLACK SHADOWS TATTOOS.

I’m truly grateful to Sophie for traveling from Norway and trusting my imagination and artistic vision to bring this creature to life on her skin.

The darkness has only begun…

OCTOBER 9TH — A NIGHT CARVED IN BLACK.

A night I will never forget.

BELPHEGOR and KRISIUN, two legendary bands whose members carry my artwork permanently engraved in their skin, both dedicated a song to me live on stage that night. A moment of pure darkness, respect, and brotherhood.

Years ago, I lived with KRISIUN for almost a year in São Paulo, Brazil, during the early days of BLACK SHADOWS. They supported me and helped me build the foundations of what BLACK SHADOWS would become.

Seeing my old brothers again, with the vocalist of KRISIUN wearing a BLACK SHADOWS shirt on stage and dedicating a song to me, brought back memories from those early years.

And receiving another song dedication from BELPHEGOR, a band with whom I also share a long history of tattoos, friendship, and respect, made this night even more unforgettable.

More than music. More than tattoos. This is a brotherhood forged in blood, darkness, and decades of extreme metal.

My eternal respect and gratitude to both bands.
