DOMDA works all over the island and represents Dominica on the international level for all matters related to diabetes. The association has excellent relationship with the Ministry of Health and strategic approach and programs for prevention and care are selected and implemented in close cooperation. Currently there are 4 branches on the island:

Castle Bruce Health District Branch
Portsmouth Health District Branch
Roseau Health District Branch

Today, we hosted our Sip n Chat event, at the realm. It was well attended, and we thank the youth, members, and executive team, who put this together.

Ms. Royette Charles was the Keynote Speaker, and she did a wonderful job. Be on the look out for more initiatives like these, and support the Dominica Diabetes Association, as we continue to advocate for, and assist Diabetic and Hypertensive members of our organisation.

Sip & Chat: Real Conversations. A Healthier Tomorrow” is a DOMDA initiative targeting young people ages 16–35, combining health education, open dialogue and social interaction in a relaxed setting. Scheduled for September 30 at The Realm in Roseau from 5:00–7:00 p.m., the event will explore blood sugar, mental health, sexuality and relationships, confidence, and the importance of knowing your health numbers, while encouraging young participants to join the Young Ambassadors Club and become advocates for healthier communities.

We will be located opposite Jollys Pharmacy in Roseau - next to Mcmillan's hardware store.💯

We will be selling our delicious food from 8am till on Friday, April 10th 2026. So bring a $20 and support the Dominica Diabetes Association! 🔥As we continue to help so many people in Dominica, through advocation, assistance, and promotion of preventive care, to maintain a healthy lifestyle against diabetes or hypertension. 🙌
