You were born with an innate sense of deserving, but you lost it. Or maybe it's more accurate to say, it was stolen from you, hidden from you. Most of us were TAUGHT, probably by well meaning parents, that we've got to EARN praise, love, toys, freedom, friendships. We learned, or again more accurately, we were TAUGHT, that we could loose all of, at the whim of someone else.
What really sucks is this...did we even have a specific set of "how to" rules? Or was the earning something...kinda random, left up to chance? Did you ever do something as a child, SURE that you'd be praised for it...and then you weren't?
The good news is that you are smarter now, hopefully, than you were when you were a kid. It's time to unlearn the lies, and go back to embracing who you have always been, deserving what was never actually in question.
Tell me in the comments: what is the biggest lie you were told about your worth?
