I know this isn’t written well but it’s my friend who speaks only a bit of English. She is doing EMT training and having to take time off from her massages to attend class and training. Even $20 would help her. The training she is doing is valuable to the small town of Vilcabamba where she lives in Ecuador.

I found out they also tie many women’s tubes here without their knowledge. That’s another reason they like csections. They also give Norplant in the arm without their permission. Sometimes they do 2 of them to make sure they can’t get pregnant. It messes with them having that double dose of hormones. I’ve taken out a handful for women when they have discovered it.
Talk about no informed consent.

NRP, CPR, and handouts. Classes are going again and I’m loving it! Since there isn’t really a fully trained midwife here the parents will take my midwifery classes so they can do a homebirth and avoid the 90% c-section rate here. My students help at their births and do the best they can. If I’m here I’ll attend your birth. All you have to do is ask.
