Seetõttu on hindamisel oluline vaadata tervikpilti — kuulata sümptomite kirjeldust, hinnata liikumist ja mõista, kuidas erinevad piirkonnad omavahel seotud on. Ainult valuliku või ärritunud koha põhjal võib pilt jääda poolikuks.

🏴ENGLISH:
The location of pain doesn’t always mean that the cause is in the same area.
The nervous system can produce symptoms in an area that is different from the actual source of irritation or the underlying problem. This means you may feel pain in one place even though its source is somewhere else.
The light switch and lamp example in the video helps illustrate this: you press the switch in one place, but the light turns on somewhere else. 💡
That’s why it’s important to look at the bigger picture during an assessment — to listen to how the symptoms are described, assess movement, and understand how different areas of the body are connected. Focusing only on the painful or irritated area may leave part of the picture unexplored.
