I might skip dessert, but the mini dress, pasta at 9pm, two margaritas and staying out until midnight? Absolutely. 😂

Getting older hasn’t made me more rigid. If anything, I care a whole lot less about what everyone else thinks and a whole lot more about actually enjoying my life.

The number? Still getting used to that one.

But how I feel, the confidence I have, and the freedom to just be myself? Better than I expected.

Ask me again about the dessert in 10 years. 😜

Paris!! 🇫🇷❤️

A little art, a lot of good food, plenty of walking, Céline Dion (!!), and memories I’ll be thinking about for a while.

One of my favorite on-the-go lunches is the Chopped Chicken Salad from Erewhon. Simple, filling, and I usually add a few things to make it my own.

What’s in it:
🥬 Mixed greens
🍗 Shredded chicken
🧀 Feta
🍅 Sun-dried tomatoes
🫒 Olives (I switch the black for green)
🥗 Vinaigrette
🌰 pine nuts (I add these)

Toss it all together and lunch is done. Healthy eating doesn’t always have to mean making everything from scratch.

I’ve been experimenting with peptides for the past year, long before I expected to see this conversation happening at the FDA.

I’ve tried almost every peptide currently part of that conversation, and I have thoughts. 👀

What I’ve taken, what I’ve actually noticed, and the part I think matters more than the peptide itself, all on Substack.

Taking collagen? There’s another mineral I want you to know about: silica.

Silica plays a role in collagen formation and supports connective tissue throughout the body—including your skin, hair, nails, bones and joints.

It’s one of those nutrients that doesn’t get nearly as much attention as collagen itself, but your body needs the right building blocks to do what you’re asking it to do.

Another reason I’m always saying: don’t just guess. Look at the bigger picture.

The older I get, the less energy I have for pretending.

Looking perfect before I leave the house. Being the healthiest person in the room. Hiding the scars and Band-Aids. Finding the “lesson” in something difficult before I’ve even had a chance to feel it.

I care way less about all of it.

Some days you feel good. Some days you don’t. Some things are hard and don’t need an immediate silver lining.

Turns out, getting older has made me a lot more comfortable just being human 😉

I started hormone therapy at 46.

More than 20 years later, I wouldn’t change that decision.

But there’s a LOT I wish more women knew before starting: the testing, the dosing, the risks, and how to find the right practitioner.

I’m sharing my actual protocol + everything I’ve learned along the way on Substack.

After all these years in wellness, I’ve learned that what form your supplements come in matters.

I look for bioavailable forms, meaningful doses and transparency about what I’m actually getting. And when you start buying all of those nutrients individually, both the bottles and the cost add up quickly.

That’s one of the reasons has earned a place in my routine. It gives me a comprehensive nutritional foundation in one daily product.

Apparently my bag is equal parts beauty, wellness, practical necessities… and a little something sweet. 😂

A few things have earned permanent residency in here, some for very practical reasons and some simply because I refuse to leave the house without them.

What’s in my bag:
Car Keys, of course
Flower Essence Verbena
English Pear & Freesia co hand lotion
lash + brow products
Copper serum
Stevia
Lipstick
sunscreen
Brightening eye drops
Sunglasses
Black Tourmaline

And a note from someone very special 🤍

What’s the one thing you always have in your bag?

My current green smoothie on repeat 💚 Easy, creamy, and takes about 2 minutes.

What you’ll need:
1 cup almond milk
1 big handful spinach
½–1 frozen banana
1tbsp chia seeds
1 Pique matcha packet
A sprinkle of cinnamon
Stevia to taste
Ice, if you like it extra cold

Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth. That’s it!

Save this one for your next smoothie morning.
