It accounts for only a small proportion of cases. Behind every diagnosis, there is a person, a family and a unique story that deserves to be seen and heard. Visible.

This week, at , we are joining two global initiatives aimed at raise awareness of the impact that rare and complex cancers can have on people living with MTC and their families: Rare Cancer Day and World Thyroid Cancer Day.

Because living rare cancers such as MTC can bring

Growing up is about much more than getting taller.

For some children and adolescents, growth may not follow the expected path: a few centimeters below the curve, a comment during a routine check-up, a referral that takes months to come through. For many families, this is how the journey to a growth disorder diagnosis begins, not with a clear answer, but with subtle signs that can be easy to overlook or dismiss.

On International Children's Growth Awareness Day, at we join ICOSEP, the International Coalition of Organizations Supporting Endocrine Patients, in helping bring more visibility to these conditions and highlighting the importance of greater understanding, earlier diagnosis and specialized care. Because something as simple as regular growth monitoring can play a vital role in identifying potential concerns and opening the door to timely intervention.

As part of our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with complex conditions including rare endocrine diseases, we believe every child and adolescent deserve the opportunity to grow, thrive and reach their full potential!

Behind every pediatric oncology diagnosis, there is a young person with dreams, hopes and aspirations. That is why, this Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we recognize the courage of children, adolescents and young adults living with cancer, as well as the strength and resilience of their families.

Among these complex and rare conditions is osteosarcoma, the most common primary bone cancer in children and adolescents. Despite advances in treatment, it remains a significant challenge and can have a profound impact on patients' lives during critical years of growth and development.

At , we are deeply committed to helping build a brighter future for those affected by this disease. This September, we join the global effort to raise awareness of childhood cancer, because greater understanding can help drive progress, inspire innovation and bring hope to patients and their families.
