A little bit of RJ love ❤️

Today marks 5 years without you. I think losing you will always feel enormously surreal. Noel told me tonight as we reminsiced what we miss about you, "RJ made our lives magical." We miss your excitement and silliness on holidays and that mischievous side and the practical jokes. Family was your whole heart. You were our sounding board, sense of reason, protector and fixer of all things. Our lives forever changed 5 years ago. The void is vast. Everyday we say your name and speak of the wonder of you. We love you RJ Vandemortel and will miss you until forever. 💙💛🧡

5 years ago today. This was the last photo/selfie of RJ before he left this world. He would be gone 22 days later. Of course he took it with his little niece Daniella. ❤️ 💙

How has it been 9 years since RJ Vandemortel and I rode our bikes together across NY State? I am so lucky to have this week of amazing memories with my boy. ❤️ 💙
