Friday night, I ordered takeout I didn’t even want and thought: “Why did I do that.?”
I thought ordering food would make me feel better… it didn’t.
Last night, I sat on the sofa with a takeaway I didn’t even want.
I’d ordered it out of habit.
Not hunger. Not excitement.
Just… something to take the edge off.
But halfway through, I realised I wasn’t enjoying it.
And somehow, that made it worse.
Because now it wasn’t just the food,
it was the guilt, the frustration, the “why do I keep doing this?”
The same loop I’d been stuck in for months:
🥡 Order food to feel better
😞 Don’t even enjoy it
😩 Promise tomorrow will be different
And yet… it never was.
A few days later, I came across a story from someone called Maggie.
She said something that stopped me mid-scroll:
“I wasn’t even enjoying the things I was using to cope anymore.”
She’d found something called Temple Vie.
💜 Not a diet
💜 Not another “start Monday” plan
💜 Just a conversation — a simple Zoom call
She said it was the first time someone helped her understand why she kept falling into those patterns.
No judgement. No restriction. No shame.
Just clarity.
✍🏻 I booked a call that same week.
And within a few weeks…
🌟 I stopped relying on food to change how I felt
🌟 I started recognising those patterns before they took over
🌟 And for the first time in years… I felt back in control
Not perfect. Not extreme.
Just… different.
So if this feels familiar—
if you’ve ever eaten something hoping it would fix how you feel…
Maybe this is your moment too.
