🌟In addition to pregnancy and fertility scans, we also offer women's health ultrasound scans which are suitable to assess abdominal organs such as the liver, gallbladder, urinary bladder, kidneys, pancreas and spleen. 🌟

✨These scans can also include a pelvis / gynaecology scan so the uterus and ovaries can be assessed at the same time. ✨

All clinical staff performing these scans are fully qualified, female sonographers. and appointments can be booked at either clinic location.

"I have been coming here for about 3 years now having had 3 babies back to back and so far I’ve had a reassurance scan along with a gender blood test, then another one a year or so later and today I had a 13 week gender scan and every time I have left over the moon over how great and special the experience had been every time!

From the moment you walk in you feel so welcome, you never have to wait longer than a few minutes to go into the scanning room (compared to other places where you might have to wait a while), the room itself is so relaxing, Laura herself is absolutely fantastic at her job, the attention to every little detail at the scan is unbelievable!

I never feel rushed, the scan pictures were amazing quality and we even got some little extras and many more pictures than we thought we’d get (again, other places give you 1 picture unless you pay for more!)

The experience is worth every penny and we got the gender what we were hoping for every time as well which has made it even more special! I could not be happier that i’ve found this place and would recommend people to travel here from miles away like I did, it’s so worth it ###"

Abdominal ultrasound scans for men are available at Starlight Ultrasound.🧔‍♂️

With no GP or specialist referral necessary, men can book a Men's Health Abdominal Scan at Starlight at either clinic location. 📍

Online booking is available 24/7 and appointments can also be made over the phone, through social media or via our website's Live Chat facility. 🌐

Written reports are provided the same day as the appointment and we can often accommodate short notice appointments for urgent enquiries. ⚠

The Men's Health Scans are suitable for investigating issues such as gallstones, kidney stones and liver disease.

Men book abdominal scans due to increased urinary frequency or being unable to completely empty their bladder.

Some men come for routine health check once a year, whilst others book in with a specific concern.

Evening and weekend appointments are available.🗓

Fertility Scans at Starlight are available to book online 24/7.

Whether you are exploring your own fertility or you are under the care of a fertility clinic in the UK or abroad, you can book a fertility ultrasound scan and blood test, both of which are available at both clinic location every day we are open.

You can attend at any stage of your cycle, and we are able to accommodate urgent bookings due to cycle changes.

All our clinical staff are female and we only every employ fully qualified and experienced sonographers, all of whom can perform transvaginal scans where necessary and appropriate.

Scans and blood tests with same-day results are also available at the weekend.

We're delighted to announce that sonographer Jade Starr is now offering blood tests alongside her ultrasound scans.

That means more availability for those looking to book blood tests at Starlight.

So if you require blood tests such as progesterone or oestrogen alongside fertility scans, or if you want a Beta hCG blood test, you will be able to book these with Jade on the days she is in.

Jade will also be able to provide the Starlight Express early gender blood test from six weeks and NIPTs (non-invasive prenatal testing) from ten weeks.

Jade's online diary has been updated so you can check her availability and book immediately.

💉Blood Tests at Starlight Ultrasound during your pregnancy. 🫄

💫From early confirmation through Beta hCG, monitoring progesterone levels or even a full blood count, short notice blood tests with same-day results are available at Starlight.

🎀💙We also offer an early gender blood test that is available from just SIX weeks into pregnancy with accurate results at determining the gender of your baby. It's called Starlight Express and is available as a standalone blood test or alongside an early pregnancy ultrasound scan.

From TEN weeks, you can also have the NIPT (Non-Invasive Prentatal Testing) at Starlight, which also includes an ultrasound scan, and is a chromosomal screening test.

Some common blood tests including the above can all be booked online at either clinic location but you can get in touch with any tests that aren't listed.

💫Starlight Ultrasound 5D scans provide the clearest and most realistic views of baby, and are wonderful experiences that help you and your loved ones bond with baby.💫

🫄All our 5D scans include an unlimited number of digital images and we offer a choice of packages to include additional prints, keyrings and heartbeat teddies.🧸

📅We recommend booking your scan for around 28 weeks - even for those with an anterior placenta and for those carrying twins.

‼There's also no cut-off date meaning we don't refuse bookings past 30 weeks - in fact some of the best images captured have been later in pregnancy.‼

👨‍👩‍👧Our 5D scan experiences can be shared with friends and family so if you want to bring family members and/or friends to your appointment, that is absolutely fine!
