💚 World Mental Health Day | 10 October 💚
We all have mental health, just as we all have physical health. Both deserve care, attention and kindness. Like our physical health, our mental health can fluctuate, with some days feeling easier and others more challenging. 🌿
Life can be busy, and it’s easy to put ourselves at the bottom of the list. But looking after our wellbeing doesn’t always mean making big changes. Sometimes, it’s the small things we do each day that make the biggest difference.
✨ Getting enough sleep
✨ Moving our bodies in ways we enjoy
✨ Eating well and spending time outdoors
✨ Connecting with others
✨ Making time for things that bring us joy
✨ Finding moments to pause, breathe and reset
✨ Talking about how we feel and reaching out when we need support
💚 Conversations about mental health make a difference.
A simple check-in, a listening ear or asking someone how they’re really doing can mean more than we realise. We don’t need to have all the answers — sometimes, simply being there and listening without interruption is enough.
This World Mental Health Day, let’s make space for honest conversations, look out for one another and remember that caring for ourselves isn’t selfish. It’s essential. 💚
How are you looking after your mental health today? 🌱
