🧠 Concussion isn’t always obvious. Would you spot it?
It’s more than just a headache. Signs and symptoms can include:
👉 Headaches or pressure in the head
👉 Dizziness or feeling unsteady
👉 Nausea
👉 Blurred vision or sensitivity to light and noise
👉 Confusion, poor concentration or memory gaps
👉 Feeling unusually tired, irritable or “not quite right”
You don’t need to be knocked out to have a concussion, and symptoms may take time to appear.
If you suspect one, stop playing, get medically assessed and don’t return to sport that day. If in doubt, sit it out.
🚨 A worsening severe headache, repeated vomiting, seizures or difficulty staying awake need emergency assessment.
