Whether it's wearing a hi-vis vest or simply placing one over the back of your seat, a little extra visibility can make a big difference.

❄️🛵 Is your mobility scooter ready for winter? 🛵❄️

Unfortunately, colder, wetter weather won't be too far away, now is the perfect time to give your scooter a little TLC!

🔋 Look after your batteries - Keep them fully charged and remember that cold weather can affect battery performance.
💧 Keep it dry - Store your scooter somewhere dry and sheltered, and allow it to dry properly after getting caught in the rain.
🛞 Check your tyres - Keep an eye on tyre pressure, tread and general condition, especially with wet and slippery surfaces.
💡 Check your lights & indicators - With darker evenings, make sure everything is working properly before heading out.
🔌 Check your charger - Make sure cables and connections are clean and in good condition.
🧥 Stay protected - A waterproof scooter cape, tiller cover and storage cover can make winter journeys much more comfortable! ☔
👀 Notice something unusual? If your scooter is losing power, sounds different or isn't charging properly, don't ignore it - get it checked before a small problem becomes a bigger one.

A little preparation now can help keep you moving all winter long! ❄️🛵
