We are super proud that our Holly Lynch is back on the road again in her presenting role.
November sees her at the FitCamps World on the Prom event in Lytham.
There are a few members of the gym going along to support - anyone else fancy joining them? :)
It’s time to meet another incredible presenter who is headlining at the Fitcamps on the Proms this year.
Everyone let’s get to know the incredible Holly Lynch founder of Empower HQ a little more.
She’s not just a Stunning Goddess in her 80’s Aerobics outfits but multi award winner in a variety of fitness categories!!
🌟 GET TO KNOW THE PRESENTER 🌟
1. How long have you worked in the fitness industry? Since I was 22… so 3 years 😉 (for those of you who are better at maths it’s actually 14 years).
2. What inspired you to become a fitness presenter or create your brand?
I LOVE people… I love the buzz in the room when there is a shared purpose a shared energy and a shared love for something! There is something so so powerful about it… and having studied theatre and performance it feels very natural to be on a stage
3. Where in the world are you based?
I am based in Lancashire - and more specifically Barrowford.
4. What can everyone expect from your sessions at FitCamps on the Prom?
My 80s aerobics is just pure fun, a chance to let loose to some super nostalgic tunes and burn a ton of calories with really simple and easy to follow routines that really are suitable for all levels.
Group fight is a kick ass 45 minutes of punches, kicks and combat inspired training all set to an incredible sound engineered soundtrack. It’s the ultimate stress buster and because the moves are repeated in rounds- the workout can be done at super high intensity.. or at a much lower impact option too.
5. What do you love most about working in fitness? Energy breeds energy - and it is a privilege to have a career that inspires energy and joy in others. Seeing people progress and take care of their health and wellness is such a huge honour.
6. What is your favourite way to unwind when you’re not teaching?
I love a cup of tea catch up with my husband Endrit and a cuddle with my cat Hercules.
7. What is your go-to treat or guilty pleasure? I bloody love a piece of cake!!
8. What is your favourite holiday destination? I have family and friends in Zakynthos and it is where I met my husband - so it holds a very special place in my heart.
9. If you weren’t working in fitness, what career do you think you would have chosen? i would have loved to have been on the west end … I’m crap.. 😂 so it was never a legitimate choice … but what an amazing career that must be!
10. Who would play you in a film about your life? Cameron Diaz! She’s daft and sporty like me 🙂
11. What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? “You can’t get to the top any quicker by climbing over others and putting them down… make good connections and your ladder will naturally appear for your to climb” - The fabulous Teresa Wheatley said that to me when I was fresh out of training and I will never ever forget it!
12. What advice would you give to your younger self? That squirmy feeling in your tummy is always right! Follow it!
13. Tell us one fun or surprising fact that people might not know about you!
I was once in Britains got talent as part of a choir - we got through to the live audience rounds 💁♀️
14. Finally, what are you most looking forward to at FitCamps on the Prom?
The shared passion and energy in the rooms! Nothing beats it!
