GRADUATION DAY New Ground Jiu Jitsu Academy 👩‍🎓

So proud of my little girl for sticking it out even though she was a little scare at the start.

Now she’s all about taking your back and getting the hooks in.

Consistency is the only thing that matters in the game of life.

Regardless of what you do, if you keep showing up, you’ll achieve anything you want in life.

Had such a laugh in the gym today with Fíadh, she loves the place.

One of my absolute favourite things in the world to do is to show her what the human body is capable of.
⁣
Limits are only created in the mind as we grow older. ⁣
⁣
As children we have almost no fear and a belief that anything is possible. So feed their little minds with good examples and show them that belief is true.⁣
⁣
Besides that, is there a better example than showing your children that their parents work hard, look after their body, and are fit & healthy? Don’t think so.⁣
⁣
You are basically giving your kids the blueprint for success when you lead by example through your actions. ⁣
⁣
On the other hand you could be the parent that never gets off the sofa drinking 2L of coke straight from the bottle, eats mc Donald’s daily, and never exercises, there’s a good chance your children copy will that too.⁣
⁣
Wether it’s good or bad stuff they see, they are going to copy it, so make sure it’s the good stuff they see most of the time 🙏⁣

Pain doesn’t always mean you need to stop moving — 9/10, your body simply needs the right movement.⁣
⁣
Mobility drills help your joints move through a better range of motion, which helps reduce stiffness and release tension that builds up from sitting, training and everyday life.⁣
⁣
When your hips, spine and shoulders move properly, your body isn’t forced to compensate as much. This can help massively in easing pressure on your back, improve your posture and make everyday movement feel smoother and a lot easier.⁣
⁣
Try these 3 mobility drills daily for the next 6 weeks and see how you start building a body that feels stronger, moves better and lets you live without restriction.⁣
