The howler monkeys, they are so beautiful and gentle, a new baby came into the refuge this week, they are often shot and the babies are sold as pets, given a bad diet of junk food, get sick and end up here, it is heartbreaking, but they are given a chance to form groups and be re-released into the wild, it’s a long process, hopefully we will see some of the released ones tomorrow when we go upriver

Today I was on howler monkey duty, chopping, feeding and cleaning up after them, they are the most beautiful monkeys and sound incredible. We have minimal contact with them as they will be released back into the wild once they are ready.

Having an amazing time volunteering at the Amazon shelter in the Peruvian rain forest where they rescue wild animals and release them back into the wild, hard but rewarding work

We have been getting some amazing feedback on our calming cream, it’s amazing, really helps smooth my psoriasis, my eczema has disappeared, my skin never felt so calm and soothed, it’s so lovely to hear and the reason why we love making our beautiful creams from the finest quality organic ingredients we can source. We recommend combining it with our cleansing tea, the perfect combo, check out our website to order online www.theherbary.org solutions 🍵
