📚 Day 2 & 3 of the Birmingham FRCS Trauma & Orthopaedics Revision Course saw delegates put their knowledge into practice! From VIVAs and intermediate cases, to a full mock examination day. Candidates experienced realistic exam scenarios under the guidance of our expert faculty.

The course concluded with a closing remarks and feedback session, where delegates received their mock examination scores and key advice to support their final preparation ahead of the FRCS examination.

With our faculty support, realistic clinical scenarios, and tailored feedback throughout, delegates gained invaluable exam experience and insight to help build confidence for exam day.

🚀Trauma and Orthopaedics BOOTCAMP!

Last Friday trainees from Birmingham, Oswestry and Warwick joined us for talks on training pathways, exam preparation, CV building and making the most of training opportunities. We also had an inspiring session from Dr Katy Mahoney on overcoming imposter syndrome!

The day finished with interactive clinical examination stations. Thank you to everyone involved!

🎓 Regional Anaesthesia Training Course

This week we welcomed anaesthetists from across the West Midlands to The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital for our hands-on Regional Anaesthesia Training Course.

Led by expert faculty, delegates developed their ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia skills through practical scanning sessions and small-group teaching. A fantastic day of learning, sharing knowledge and supporting the next generation of anaesthetists👏

A huge thank you to all of the faculty, organisers, models and delegates who helped make the day such a success!
