📅 31st October
🕕 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
🅿️ Parking: Charity Car Park, B70 7QU

"The animals, birds, and insects cannot chant the holy name, but by hearing the holy name chanted they can benefit. Chanting the japa of the holy name of Krishna purifies oneself, but the loud sankirtana of the holy name of Krishna benefits all living beings. Therefore, loudly chant the holy name of Krishna in kirtana, and you will get one hundred times the benefit of chanting japa. This is the verdict of all the sastras."
- (Chaitanya-bhagavata 1.16, Haridasa Thakura speaking)

We look forward to seeing you there.

Srila Prabhupada ki Jai!
Nitai Gaura Haribol

This weekend, over 45 devotees from Birmingham came together for training on deity worship, in preparation for our new temple. 🙏

It was wonderful to have the guidance of H.G. Murli Manohar Prabhu, ISKCON UK’s Deity Ministry representative. He gave us a glimpse of the standards to be maintained and the many services we can begin training for. There will be so many ways for everyone to take part in the service of the Lordships.

Next year, we’re planning a 9-day workshop with H.G. Murli Manohar Prabhu on deity worship, certificated by the ISKCON Deity Ministry. We look forward to training our community to worship Sri Jagannath, Baladev, Subadra and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Jai Srila Prabhupad!

On Saturday 4th October, we came together to honour the volunteers and patrons who make everything possible at ISKCON Birmingham. To every volunteer who gives their time, energy and heart, and to every patron who stands behind this mission, thank you!

We were deeply graced by the presence of our UK GBC, His Grace Praghosa Prabhu, along with His Holiness Keshava Swami, His Grace Braja Vilas Prabhu (TOVP, Mayapur), His Grace Nila Madhava Prabhu (Bhaktivedanta Manor) and His Grace Pradyumna Prabhu (Temple President, ISKCON Leicester), whose team lovingly cooked the prasadam for the evening.

Thank you once again for your wonderful support and your pledges towards our new temple. Together, we are building a home for Sri Sri Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra in Birmingham.

Here are some moments from a truly special evening. Tag yourself and your friends!

Update, 21st September 2026

After 10 years, by Lord Krsna's mercy, our offer on a building has been accepted and our planning application is now submitted.

And the community response continues to inspire us.

This past week:
- 🙌 Our monthly donors have grown from 65 to 72 — our aim now is to reach 108 monthly donors

- 💛 Pledges have risen by a further £21,000, from £705,000 to £726,000

An amazing effort - thank you to each and every one of you, and thank you for asking your friends and family to give. We need to raise a further £874,000 to secure Lord Krsna's home.
