Our team delivered the PE launch sessions at the NatWest Equal Play launch with ParalympicsGB and Omnicom — a national campaign making PE genuinely inclusive for every child.

Across four schools of young people, our coaches showed how the right coaching and a few simple adaptations can make PE work for everyone — with a wide selection of kit available to adapt with, whatever a child's ability.

This is exactly what we do, day in day out: inclusive, adaptive sport that meets every child where they are. Getting to bring that expertise to a stage like this, alongside ParalympicsGB athletes and partners, was a real moment for the team.

Great to spend this weekend at with continuing our work together.

The focus was simple: how do we create an environment where everyone can take part, compete and have a good developmental experience.

We used inclusive target games and soft archery kits from Archery GB to explore how changes to the task, environment and equipment can open up the activity to a much wider range of participants.

It’s a practical example of something that sits at the heart of our work at Move Mojo®:

Adapt the game, not the person.

Really positive to continue developing this work alongside Disability Sport Yorkshire and to share it at Leeds Beckett.

Our Dudley SEND only holiday programme created 180 places for children with SEND over the summer across two venues.

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

One parent told us:

“There’s not much in the way of SEND, especially sports and SEND together.”

They explained how important it was to have the choice to stay with their child or leave them with a team they trusted. It gave their child opportunities to play football, try archery, socialise and enjoy being active—while also giving them valuable time for themselves as a parent.

The programme was designed around the children. They could take part in structured sports, choose free-play activities or move into a quieter space when they needed time to regulate.

We also worked with local apprentices and young leaders, giving children positive role models while showing families that inclusive sport can create genuine training and career pathways.

For many families of children with SEND, finding the right activities during the school holidays isn’t always easy.

That’s why our Dudley SEND HAF sessions are designed to give young people a place where they can have fun, get active, make new friends and feel supported to be themselves.

From football, boccia, curling and archery to inclusive games and activities, every child is encouraged to get involved in a way that works for them.

And for parents and carers, it can also mean something incredibly important — confidence that their child is happy and supported, and the opportunity for a little bit of respite.

One of our parents summed it up perfectly:

“Being able to have that little bit of a break and know that he’s looked after, supported and got things to do is really nice.”

We’re incredibly proud of the young people who joined us at Priory Primary and Gig Mill Primary this summer. 🧡

Sandwell Council carried out a monitoring visit at one of our camps with our partners PG Active at The Westminster School, their feedback was.

"This is a well-run provision with knowledgeable and experienced staff who also work within the school during term time."

"The session was bright, inviting, and well organised, offering a good variety of both indoor and outdoor activities."

"The provision lead has extensive experience of working with children with SEND and demonstrates a strong understanding of both the operational requirements and the practical realities of delivering a successful session."

Three things made that possible: local partners PG active ability who already know the participants and their families, a real choice of indoor and outdoor activity, and SEND planning and documentation that stands up to inspection.

Delivered with the PG Active Ability team.

This summer, we launched one of our new SEND holiday programmes with Sandwell Council where we delivered a summer provision to 250 children and young people with SEND.

This provision was supported by Westminster school and their staff to form an approach that families and young people valued as a safe and fammiliar space.

Hosted at Westminster School, the programme gave families a safe, familiar space that many told us they simply couldn’t find elsewhere.

But the numbers only tell half the story. What families shared with us said the rest:

“He spends a lot of time isolating in his room over the holidays. The moment this came across, I jumped on it.”

“Previously he didn’t want to go to other camps because they were too far from home — this is on the doorstep. He looks forward to coming back, seeing familiar faces.”

“We’ve had parents whose children can’t access other clubs because their needs are complex and severe. We’ve been able to meet those needs.”

Delivering in a trusted school setting, alongside familiar peers and specialist staff, made all the difference — turning what can be an isolating six weeks into something children genuinely looked forward to.

Proud to have delivered this alongside PG Active and Paul Glover, and grateful to the staff at Westminster School for making it such a welcoming space.

Here’s to continuing to create opportunities where families need them most. 💙

Some pages from a new Move Mojo resource developed as part of our project with Save the Children and community partners Donate 1 Create 1.

This project supports children and young people with SEND through inclusive sport, movement and climate awareness.

The resource has been built to help Move Mojo coaches, D1C1 practitioners, volunteers and teachers deliver sessions that are:

• inclusive
• adaptable
• practical
• easy to repeat
• built around the children in front of them

The session cards use games and activities to explore themes like recycling, ocean pollution, weather, trees, safe spaces and looking after the planet.

The aim is simple: use sport and movement to create accessible learning opportunities, while building local confidence and capacity so sessions can continue beyond the project.

Inclusive sport. Community delivery. Sustainable impact.

We’ve been building this one over the last few months.

This summer, we’re launching Inclusive Sport & Climate Days — a collaboration between Move Mojo, Donate 1 Create 1 and Save the Children.

The focus is simple:
Sport is a vehicle for education and empowerment.

We’re using sport and movement to create accessible opportunities for children with SEND, while introducing climate awareness in a way that actually connects — through activity, not just conversation.

What that looks like:
• Inclusive, small-group sessions
• Activities adapted to individual needs
• Multi-sport delivery built around engagement and confidence
• Climate themes embedded into the session design

How it works in practice:
• Team games – e.g. Battleships adapted into “knocking over the icebergs”
• Individual challenges – e.g. “What’s the Time Mr Wolf” reframed around rising temperatures
• Group tasks – e.g. treasure hunts linking movement with key climate concepts

Everything is delivered through play, movement and interaction

What this allows us to do:
• Engage groups that are often harder to reach through traditional education
• Create entry points into wider topics through something familiar
• Build confidence, communication and understanding at the same time

This builds on our wider inclusive sport work, but takes it into a space where sport is used more deliberately as a tool to explore real-world issues.

Good to be working alongside Donate 1 Create 1 and Save the Children on this.

More to follow as we roll this out over the summer.
