🎃 Halloween fun at Circle Rehabilitation! 👻
It's been a spooky and creative day at Circle Rehabilitation!
Our staff got into the Halloween spirit with a fantastic pumpkin carving competition, with our patients taking on the important role of judges! The creativity and effort on display were brilliant.
We also had a mysterious member of the team making a spooky appearance in costume! with spooky chocolates gifted to all our team to add an extra treat to the celebrations.
A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day so much fun. It's moments like these that bring our patients and staff together and make our Circle Rehabilitation community so special!

🍂 Marking World Stroke Day at Circle Rehabilitation Birmingham 💙

Today, we celebrated World Stroke Day with a lovely Walk and Wheel around Cannon Hill Park, making the most of the beautiful autumn weather.
As a specialist rehabilitation hospital supporting many patients recovering from strokes and brain injuries, we understand the importance of rehabilitation, movement and meaningful moments in recovery.
Our patients enjoyed getting some fresh air, taking in the autumn scenery and spending time together outdoors, followed by warm drinks and delicious cakes from our fundraising bake sale in support of Stroke Association
A big thank you to everyone who took part, baked, donated and helped make the day special!
Together, we continue to raise awareness, support stroke survivors and celebrate every step forward. 💙

💙 World Occupational Therapy Day 2026 — Participation Matters!

This year’s theme highlights how taking part in everyday activities can make a meaningful difference to our health, wellbeing and quality of life.

🌟 Monday Motivation: Teresa’s Journey of Strength and Determination 🌟

After 18 weeks of hard work, determination and rehabilitation, Teresa left Circle Rehabilitation to a wonderful send-off, with staff and family clapping and cheering her on. 👏❤️

Following a road traffic accident that led to the amputation of one leg, Teresa worked tirelessly to rebuild her strength and independence. Through her motivation and commitment, she improved her ability to move from sitting to standing, maintain a standing position and begin completing everyday tasks while standing.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that progress takes perseverance, courage and the right support.

Teresa, we’re incredibly proud of how far you’ve come. We wish you all the very best for the next chapter! 💙

This week, we had the pleasure of attending the CFG Polytrauma Conference 2026 at the University of Warwick!
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with case managers, solicitors and professionals from across the sector, share insights and showcase the specialist rehabilitation services we offer at Circle Rehabilitation.
The day was filled with valuable learning, inspiring conversations and new connections. We were particularly inspired by Steven Robinson BEM's powerful talk, “Anything Is Possible” — a truly inspirational speaker!
We were also in awe of the phenomenal work carried out every day by the West Midlands CARE Team. 👏
A huge thank you to Devon West for the invitation and for organising such a successful event!

🌟 Feedback Friday: Helen’s Walk of Hope 🌟

Today, we celebrate an incredible achievement as Helen takes her next steps towards independence! 💙

Following a stroke, Helen arrived at Circle Rehabilitation using a wheelchair. Through her hard work and determination, she progressed to walking short distances with a quad stick and, last week, proudly walked out of the hospital as our team gathered to clap and cheer her on.

Helen shared that she felt supported from her very first moment at Circle Rehabilitation, describing a real sense of family within the team. She is forever grateful for the care and support she received throughout her rehabilitation journey.

Helen, we are incredibly proud of you and wish you all the very best for the next chapter! 💙

Well done, Helen! Your Walk of Hope is one to remember. 🌟
