I don't really know anything about Hula.

But I was wearing this special tshirt under my scrubs today and I think some of that Hula spirit and wisdom was present to help me help my patients.

I need to learn about Hula. 💜

Getting ready to welcome the first patients coming to my newly arranged Friday clinic in Kelso! Lovely clinic rooms, come and see for yourself.

There's also increased availability in Melrose every Saturday, and a new evening clinic on Tuesdays in Dunbar.

When I registered as a mobile clinic I REALLY meant MOBILE 😅

IT'S SO ANNOYING - I get it.

It sometimes seems that you can't go anywhere or do anything without being asked to write a review.

Bought a packet of crisps - "How Did We Do?"
Took the bus to town - "Tell Us About Your Journey!"

Had a mole checked and a skin tag removed - "Ehem, please, if it's not too much trouble, could you, perhaps spare a minute....?"

When you choose to see an independent Health Care provider like me, trust is very important. Before booking, patients want to ensure that they will receive professional, competent care, delivered with empathy and dignity.

Genuine reviews can really help making this choice.

One for my Clinician Colleagues...

I worked as a full time Clinical Educator for a while - doing a talk on Primary Care Dermatology in Glasgow yesterday reminded me that I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills as much as I enjoy learning from others.

I also reflected on the difficulties of getting clinical support and supervision when working independently, especially in a single-handed service like mine.

So I decided to offer primary care related teaching, training and clinical supervision (for ALL primary care issues - (dermatology is not the only thing I do) to any of my colleagues who may not be able to access it otherwise. I can also help Nurses with NMC revalidation, arrange teaching for GP teams, and organise skin related work wellbeing events.
