Emma Homer is walking 62 miles for Dementia UK this October, despite considering herself “probably the most unfit person in the world.”
Her motivation stems from witnessing her Grandad's struggle with dementia and now supporting her Nan in a similar journey. As a nurse in a dementia care home, this cause holds profound significance for her. Having surpassed her initial £250 fundraising target, she has now committed to walking 100 miles. Each £33 donated can fund an Admiral Nurse to provide an hour of vital support to families affected by dementia. Every pound contributed makes a real difference.

Hi there, This month, I’m walking 62 Miles for Dementia UK – a cause close to my heart. Just £10 could pay for the telephone costs of two families calling its free Dementia Helpline, so any support would be appreciated. Thank you so much!
