I saw this last night at the cathedral and STOPPED dead

It drew me in, the words eched onto the pieces 🧩 shone out, the green of the earth, the rose depictions

I had to read them a few times to realise and connect that the yew/fire is Yesuha and the rose is Mary Magdalena ❤️‍🔥 this is my interpretation of the art

The cycle is life, ever ending, you're connected to the Divine energy throughout

It blew to my heart and soul 🙏 and grounded them

Medicine listen to your gut, everyone else walked past this, it wasn't part of the light show, I was drawn in and followed my instinct and courosity 🙏

SAVE SOBO BEACH: WE'VE SECURED MORE TIME!

BCP Council has extended the procurement standstill until Monday 2 November.

This is welcome progress for our campaign and gives us another week to safeguard SOBO Beach's long-term future.

But an extra week is not enough to secure the independent review we've been calling for.

The Council has agreed to independent scrutiny, but has yet to guarantee that the review will be completed and its findings considered before a binding twenty-year agreement is signed.

Important questions about consultation, tender design, scoring and financial due diligence remain unresolved.

We're making encouraging progress with councillors across political groups, working to secure the 25% support needed to bring forward our proposed resolution.

Our campaign remains entirely non-partisan, and we're grateful to every councillor who has expressed their support, publicly or privately.

WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP!

More than 10,800 people stood together to save SOBO Beach.

We've helped secure an offer of another eleven months, but the long-term future of SOBO Beach is still at stake.

Please keep emailing your local councillors and asking them to support a comprehensive independent review before any binding twenty-year agreement is signed.

We've secured more time, now we need to make sure that time counts.

HELP US SAVE SOBO BEACH: MONDAY 26 OCTOBER IS A CRITICAL DEADLINE.

DETAILS ON HOW YOU CAN HELP BELOW 👇

The fight for SOBO Beach’s future isn’t over and we urgently need your help.

With the Council’s procurement standstill period due to end, we have just days to secure the safeguards needed to protect SOBO Beach’s long-term future.

More than 10,800 people signed our petition to Save SOBO Beach

Together, we helped secure an offer of another eleven months and a commitment from BCP Council to independently review the tender process.

But the decision to award a twenty-year lease to a new operator still stands.

Despite repeated requests, important questions about how that decision was reached remain unresolved.

Questions about public consultation, how the tender was designed and scored, the assessment of community value, and whether appropriate financial due diligence was undertaken.

We’re calling on BCP Council to:

1) PAUSE THE LONG-TERM AGREEMENT.

2) COMPLETE THE INDEPENDENT REVIEW.

3) RESTART THE TENDER.

If the review identifies material problems that cannot properly be remedied within the existing process, we want a lawful, redesigned tender that properly reflects the public views and the social and community value of this important public space.

NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Full Council has agreed to an independent review, but it hasn’t guaranteed that the findings will be considered BEFORE a binding twenty-year agreement is signed.

This is the crucial safeguard we’re asking councillors to support.
