Meet me half way…Reiki for a clearer head

If your mind feels like a browser with too many tabs open, Reiki can help.

When you lie down and the room goes quiet, your nervous system gets permission to soften.

Your breathing slows, your heart rate settles, and the stress you’ve been carrying starts to ease.

That’s usually when the racing thoughts loosen their grip.

Many of my clients tell me the fog lifts afterwards.

They feel lighter, settled, grounded, and able to think straight again, often for the first time in weeks.

What happens in a session

You lie comfortably on the cosy bed, fully clothed, and close your eyes.

I place my hands lightly on or just above your head and body, and you simply rest and breathe.

I genuinely thought my talk today might be too basic.

It wasn’t.

What surprised me most at Co-op Live was just how many people are using ChatGPT without ever really setting it up properly.

No personalisation.
No Projects.
No brand context.
One chat for everything.
No idea what automations or agents actually are.

And only 2 people in a room of around 100 had taken the free OpenAI training.

That was a bit of a reality check for me.

Because when you’ve been immersed in AI for years, it’s very easy to assume everyone else is much further ahead than they actually are.

They’re not.

Which means there is still a huge gap between “I use ChatGPT” and “I know how to use AI properly in my work.”

And apparently, I’ve still got quite a lot to teach. 👀

Absolutely amazing day, I learned so much!

Grief doesn’t only belong to death.

You can grieve a relationship.
 A friendship.
 A version of yourself.
 A life you thought you’d have.
 Someone who is still here, but no longer feels like the person you knew.

And sometimes you don’t need to talk about it.

You just need somewhere safe to put it down for a while.

This Sunday, I’m holding Life, Loss & Becoming - a gentle guided grief meditation at Yoga Sangha in Cheadle.

An hour to slow down, come back into your body, acknowledge what you’ve been carrying, and create a little space around it.

No pressure to share.
 No expectation to “move on.”
 No need to be at any particular stage of grief.
