Fear is incredibly clever. It often dresses itself up as “protection” to keep us from stepping into the very spaces that would allow us to heal.

True healing doesn’t require you to be fearless, we are not all comfortable in these settings, all it requires is you to feel safe enough for you to bring your fear with you.

At Mystic Tree, your comfort dictates the entire session. If your mind is racing, we use a weighted eye mask to signal to your brain that it’s safe to drop its guard. If you feel exposed, a modesty cloth ensures you always feel completely protected and held. Every boundary is yours to set.

Ten years ago I lost my mum, but the lesson she left behind is about to change someone’s life every single month.

Today would have been her birthday. Mum had this deep simple belief that if we could all just show a little more love and kindness to one another the world would be a gentler place.

That philosophy shaped everything I do.

Thinking about how to honour her memory my mind went straight to the people who quietly carry our community. The carers, nurses, teachers, parents, and friends who spend every waking hour looking after everyone else, often running completely on empty.

So in her honour I am launching The Mystic Tree Gift of Restoration.

Every single month at Mystic Tree Healing in Brislington I am offering one complimentary session to someone nominated by the people around them. An hour with zero demands, zero responsibilities, and just pure space to rest, breathe, and be looked after.

This is not a competition. It is simply a way to recognise someone whose kindness makes life softer for others.
