🖤 With some new followers here lately, I thought it’ll be a good time for a little face reminder and to introduce me a bit better⚡️Please, check the word about these photo shoots at the end 👁️🗨️
I’m Kali, aka Kalikula — a tattoo artist based in Bristol at 📍 HellHound Tattoo and Piercing , originally from Poland. I’ve been tattooing for over 5 years now.
My work revolves around Heavy Blackwork, Neotribal, Ornamental, Geometric Dotwork and Nordic themes, exploring balance between integrated primal masculinity and the darker feminine.
I draw inspiration from ancient cultures, mythology, spirituality, nature and the symbolism hidden in shapes, textures and contrasts. I love creating custom compositions that flow with the body, combining different forms to make every piece unique to the person wearing it.
⚡️ But there’s more to me than just tattoos…
Those who’ve met me in person probably know my little squirrel ADHD vibe by now 😂🐿️ — curious mind, a million thoughts, deep conversations whenever the moment allows, and good music especially during those longer sits.
In my free time (if it ever actually happens 😂), I love mixing tribal rhythms behind the decks or escaping the city to recharge in the forest.
The atmosphere we create during our sessions means a lot to me. I believe there’s something truly special about spending hours together, especially throughout longer, ongoing projects. Beyond the tattoos itself, there’s space for shared energy and those moments that stay with us long after the session ends.
I call this experience the Black Journey — a journey that brings something unique to both sides of the needle. Every project leaves a little something with me, too. And I’m endlessly grateful for that to you all.
📸 On this occasion, I wanted to share these magical photos captured by amazing Maka Iriek , a Spanish photographer now based in Madrid, who spent many years working in Bristol. Through our collaboration and friendship, she helped bring my long-held vision for this photoshoot to life last year — and I couldn’t be happier to finally share it with you. 🖤
