Feel more balanced, relaxed and energised with Qi Gong.

We're delighted to welcome Fay Johnstone to Solus, and to celebrate, she's offering a free taster class so you can come and give it a try.

Free Qi Gong Taster Class
Tuesday 3rd November, 10am-11am
Solus Holistic, Burntisland

Qi Gong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, mindful breathing, meditation and relaxed postures to support wellbeing. Fay's classes explore Elemental Qi Gong, working with the energy and symbolism of nature and the changing seasons.

Drawing on over 25 years of experience in Reiki energy healing, alongside shamanic practices and plant medicine, Fay brings a deeply holistic and nurturing approach to every session.

With regular practice, you may find Qi Gong helps you to:
- Reduce stress and release physical tension
- Feel calmer and more grounded
- Support better sleep and overall wellbeing
- Improve balance, coordination and body awareness
- Feel more connected, centred and energised

No experience, flexibility or special equipment needed. Movements can be adapted to suit you, with standing or seated options, so just wear loose, comfortable clothing and come as you are.

Spaces are limited, so please book your place with Fay by sending her a message or visiting fayjohnstone.com.

We're growing, and we'd love to welcome an osteopath to the Solus family.

Solus is a holistic wellbeing space in Burntisland, created to support women, children and families through every stage of change. What started as one space has become a small, close-knit community of practitioners, and we're looking for someone to grow with us.

We'd love to hear from you if you're:
-An osteopath, at least two years post-graduation
-Competent in women's health and paediatric care
-Keen to further your study and experience in these areas, with a view to specialising
-Trauma-informed in your approach
-Gentle and heart-led, with a passion for family-focused care

Training undertaken with Caroline Stone is preferred. If you haven't yet, but you're the right fit for Solus, we're happy to discuss support to help you get there.

At Solus, you'd work independently with your own clients on a self-employed basis, while being part of a warm, collaborative team. We refer between one another, so clients receive joined-up care and you're never working in isolation.

The role starts on a 60/40 percentage split, which is open to negotiation, and some mentorship is available if you'd like support as you settle in.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Send us a direct message or email [email protected] to find out more.

Know someone who'd be a great fit? Please share this with them, we'd be so grateful.

A quiet space to breathe, and time that's entirely yours.

At Solus, our treatment spaces are designed to feel calm and welcoming from the moment you walk in, because healing begins when you feel safe, heard and held.

Our team offers a range of therapies to support women, children and families through every stage of change, including integrative bodywork, massage, medical herbalism and art therapy. Each practitioner brings their own gifts, and we work together so your care feels joined-up and centred around you.

Whether you're navigating pregnancy, the early days with a baby, carrying something heavier, or simply in need of somewhere gentle to land, there's space for you here.

Appointments can be booked through the link in our bio, or send us a message if you'd like help finding the right therapy for you.

Meet the team behind Solus.

Every gentle hand, every listening ear, every piece of knowledge in this space comes from the people who pour their hearts into it.

Tess brings yoga, doula support and a real passion for advocacy. Sandra and Jillian, both registered medical herbalists, bring plants and old wisdom into everyday care. Sinead and Laura hold space through art therapy. Lynsey offers grounding through massage. Bronwyn walks alongside families as they grow together. Charlotte shares her craft through knitting and embroidery, and Kirsty brings creativity to life through sewing, stitching, making and mending.

Different hands, different gifts, all rooted in the same thing: care that holds the whole person, and the whole family.

Whichever practitioner you connect with, you're held in good hands here.

Whether it's the school run picking back up or just the general shift as summer eases into autumn, routines are resetting all around us. Days are getting shorter, the pace is changing, and there's a lot to hold either way.

As things change around us, there's an invitation to slow down, notice what's shifting, and let yourself turn inward a little, just like everything around us does this time of year.

Whatever this season brings for you, may it come with a little more space for rest, self-care and looking after your own wellbeing.

Burntisland Breastfeeding Group

Amanda will be at Solus with free, impartial breastfeeding support, every second Friday of the month, 10am-11am.

This is an ideal opportunity to seek skilled breastfeeding support for specific issues, to make new friends with a cuppa, or even both. We can talk about normal infant behaviour, achieving pain free breastfeeding, starting solids, sleep (or lack of it), going back to work, and even when it might be the right time for you to stop breastfeeding. We don't judge.

No need to book, just drop by.

Upcoming Fridays:
11th September
9th October
13th November
11th December

There is space for you here.
