They were a wee bit early for their lunch booking so went for a walk to see the loch. Instead, the dishes sitting on the table by the window caught their attention!

I could tell they were getting so excited for their lunch booked in 10 minutes.

Then, when they saw I was taking photos, they gave an unplanned over-exaggerated “wow” face to the food, it was really funny 😆

When they came in, they ordered the same venison and beef dishes because of how good they looked!

The island on Loch Venachar is fascinating to all our customers and many take on the challenge to swim out to it.

Over winter it is hidden beneath the water and appears throughout the warmer months for people to swim around.

But, could it have been built by ancient Iron Age people? It was investigated by archeologists in the 1910s and they came to some really cool conclusions…

We’ve just released our brand new menu, and you can try it tomorrow!

It’s officially autumn so our Chef Mark has designed this menu around seasonal autumnal ingredients!

In these pics we have some festive drinks, the Muir Estate Venison, and the Slow Cooked Beef Cheek.

They were so so super delicious!

This area is Scotlands hidden gem that tourists don’t know about.

If you’re heading up Ben A’an, Ben Venue or Ben Ledi, why not finish your day with a trip to Venachar Lochside?

After a few hours on the hills, our sauna is the perfect place to warm up, relax and give your legs a bit of recovery.

Sauna sessions are just £15, and you can even stay for lunch afterwards and refuel after your hike. 🍽️

Our new Autumn menu is now available Thursday to Saturday, with our famous Sunday roast on Sundays when we don’t have weddings.
