🌿 YOUR WORKPLACE HEALTH PLAN COULD HELP PAY FOR YOUR MASSAGE OR REFLEXOLOGY TREATMENTS AT REVIVE AT THE WHARF! 💆‍♀️✨

Did you know that your workplace may provide a health cash plan or wellbeing scheme that allows you to claim money back towards certain treatments?

If you have workplace healthcare benefits, you could be entitled to claim towards treatments such as massage or reflexology at Revive at the Wharf.

💚 How does it work?

It’s really simple:

1️⃣ Check your workplace health plan

Your employer may provide healthcare cover through companies such as Simplyhealth, BHSF, Health Shield, Westfield Health, Medicash, Paycare, Sovereign Health Care or Benenden Health, although the treatments covered vary between providers and individual plans.

Check your policy, employee benefits portal or speak to your HR department to find out whether massage, reflexology or complementary therapies are included.

2️⃣ Book your treatment at Revive at the Wharf

Choose the treatment that suits you and book your appointment with us.

3️⃣ Pay for your treatment

You pay for your treatment at the time of your appointment, just as normal.

4️⃣ We provide your receipt

After your treatment, we'll provide you with a receipt containing the information you need to make your claim.

5️⃣ Claim it back from your healthcare provider

Simply submit your receipt through your provider's usual claims process. If your treatment is covered by your plan, they will reimburse you in accordance with your policy.

🌸 What about therapist requirements?

Some healthcare providers require treatments to be carried out by a therapist who belongs to a recognised professional organisation or accredited register.

At Revive at the Wharf, our treatments are provided by appropriately qualified therapists, with professional memberships where applicable, including recognised organisations such as the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).

However, every healthcare plan has its own rules, so please check with your provider before booking to make sure your chosen treatment and therapist meet their requirements.

💆‍♀️ Why not make the most of a benefit you may already have?

Your workplace health plan isn't just about seeing a doctor or claiming towards dental or optical costs. Depending on your policy, it may also provide support for preventative health, relaxation and complementary therapies.

So, before you pay for your next massage or reflexology treatment, take a look at your workplace benefits.

You may be able to claim some of the cost back. 💚

Clients should check their individual policy, including approved treatments, therapist requirements, claim limits and any excess or exclusions, before booking.

Quiet quitting: what is it and what can you do to prevent it?

A recent survey shows that as many as one in three UK employees admit to quiet quitting. But what does it mean, and how could it affect your business?

Simply put, quiet quitting is the decision to achieve the bare minimum at work, remaining employed but mentally checking out, rather than contractually quitting. It can occur due to a lack of recognition and motivation, or from immense pressure and stress, at home or in the office, leading to burnout.

The consequences of an employee quietly quitting can have a negative impact on your whole team, with disengagement and cynicism leading to low quality work and poor output.

So, what can you do?

Ensuring employees feel valued and don’t feel overworked is crucial. Regularly check-in with your staff. Find out how they are, what’s going well, and if there are any areas where you can offer additional support. Take this one step further by offering your team one of our workplace workshops to support staff mental health, available remotely, or in the office. Our Positive Mindset series, led by life coach, Sian Collins, covers burnout, setting goals, communication and positivity, and is ideal for morale and engagement boosting.

Don’t forget, our team of experts can create bespoke workshops unique to your business requirements. Get in touch to find out more.

As we begin another year, there’s no better time to start thinking of how to set your workplace up for success.

January is a notoriously challenging month, with the celebration season over, winter still in full swing, and post-festive finances being assessed. Provide your workforce with a stressbusting in-office treatment to bring brightness to this month – we’ve got on-site seated massages, deep tissue massages and reflexology treatments to choose from. Each will leave your staff feeling refreshed and supported.

If you’ve got a hybrid or remote working model, why not choose one of our workshops, which can be performed on-site or online? Give your team a helping hand with healthy habits in 2023 by offering our nutritional, yoga or tai chi workshops.

Don’t forget, we can create bespoke workshops for your staff too, based on your unique business needs. Get in touch to find out more
