Flu Vaccination Bookings Are Now Open 💉
With flu season fast approaching, now is the time to protect yourself and those around you.
Bookings for this year's flu vaccine are officially open at Hopwoods Pharmacy, Cardiff.
🩺 NHS Flu Vaccine — Free for Eligible Patients
Bookings open Thursday 1st October.
The NHS flu vaccine is free if you are:
● Aged 65 or over
Pregnant
● Aged six months to 64 years with a long-term health condition that increases your risk from flu, including:
Diabetes
A heart problem
A chest complaint or breathing difficulty (including COPD and asthma requiring regular steroid inhalers or tablets)
Kidney disease (from stage 3)
A weakened immune system due to disease or treatment (or you live with someone in this group)
Liver disease
Had a stroke or mini-stroke
A neurological condition such as Parkinson's disease or motor neurone disease
A missing spleen, or a problem with your spleen
A learning disability
Severe mental illness
Class III obesity (BMI of 40 or above, aged 16+)
Epilepsy
● Living in a care home
● Homeless
● A poultry worker
● A healthcare or social care worker
● Living with someone who has a weakened immune system (e.g. cancer)
