TGP Cymru TGP Cymru is the new working name for Tros Gynnal Plant. We are a leading Welsh children’s charity working with children, young people and families .

Tros Gynnal Plant is a leading Welsh children’s charity working with some of our country’s most vulnerable and marginalised children and young people. They may be experiencing difficulties in accessing appropriate services in health, education and social care - these include children with disabilities, children with emotional health needs and children seeking asylum. Tros Gynnal Plant has projects across Wales offering independent and confidential support to children and young people and families through advocacy, participation, counselling, family group meetings and conflict resolution. We also offer advocacy support for those experiencing problems with emotional health and wellbeing.

As an organisation, we are committed to ensuring that all colleagues are able to identify potential signs of CSE/A and feel confident in taking appropriate action to protect children and young people.

To support this commitment, we are grateful to have Mia Lockley delivering sessions on CSE/A titled 'Hearing the Unsaid'.

In 12 months, Young Voices provided direct advocacy support to 42 young people on 122 separate issues. Many had faced barriers in education, family conflict and unmet neurodiverse needs.

55% of the young people supported had missed significant periods of education before referral.

The Young Voices pilot demonstrated a critical gap in current provision for vulnerable young people.

Mewn 12 mis, darparodd Lleisiau Ifanc gefnogaeth eiriolaeth uniongyrchol i 42 o bobl ifanc ar 122 o faterion gwahanol. Roedd llawer wedi wynebu rhwystrau mewn addysg, gwrthdaro teuluol ac anghenion niwroamrywiol heb eu diwallu.

Roedd 55% o'r bobl ifanc a gefnogwyd wedi colli cyfnodau sylweddol o addysg cyn cael eu hatgyfeirio.

Dangosodd cynllun treialu Lleisiau Ifanc bod bwlch allweddol yn y ddarpariaeth bresennol ar gyfer pobl ifanc agored i niwed.

Over the past few months, Nikki and Julie from our Communication Passports Service have loved visiting Campfire Cymru parent groups across North-East Wales. The team shared communication passports and gathered ideas on how they could be improved for the future.

A huge thank you to Campfire Cymru and everyone who shared their ideas, lovely feedback, and, of course, the delicious, fire-cooked lunches!
