🏉 Proud to support the Classic Lions 🦁

We were delighted to welcome Allan Martin B.Ed., M.A. and Jo Clarke to Nuffield Health Cardiff & Vale Hospitals as they presented us with our Classic Lions polo ahead of the Bermuda World Rugby Classic. As a proud partner of the Classic Lions, we're excited to support the team on their journey and wish everyone involved the very best of luck in Bermuda.
A special thank you to Hospital Director Rob Thomas, Director of Operations Ceri Harding and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon David Pemberton for joining the visit and helping mark this fantastic partnership.

Good luck, Lions! 💚

The operation is over. So you're all done, right?

Not necessarily.

Recovery can be just as important as the treatment itself, which is why Nuffield Health offers Recovery Plus, a tailored physiotherapy programme for eligible patients following treatments such as joint replacement.

Rather than simply heading home with a standard discharge plan, patients can receive more personalised support as they work towards getting back to doing the things they love.

We understand that recovery doesn't stop as soon as you leave the hospital. (link in bio)

What could 12 weeks change?

Our free Long Term Conditions Programme gives people living with long-term health conditions access to specialist support in their local community.

It’s designed for people who wouldn’t normally pay for private healthcare, helping them build healthier habits and work towards feeling their best.

12 weeks. Specialist support. No private healthcare price tag. (link in our bio)

Your bones are pretty bad at sending notifications.

No "low battery" warning. No "maintenance required" message.

Osteoporosis can develop without obvious symptoms, which makes looking after your bone health particularly important.

This World Osteoporosis Day, find out whether you could be at risk.

Joint pain can be a normal part of getting older, but persistent pain doesn’t always have to be something you simply live with.

This October, we’re focusing on bone and joint health alongside World Arthritis Day and World Osteoporosis Day.

From ongoing joint pain and stiffness to concerns about bone health, it's so important to know the symptoms and knowing when to seek advice can help you take action.

If pain is affecting your everyday life, it could be time to speak to a healthcare professional. Get in touch (link in bio)

50 Aquablation procedures at Nuffield Health Cardiff and Vale! 🎈

We’re celebrating an important milestone for our team, with our 50th Aquablation procedure recently completed.

Aquablation therapy is a minimally invasive treatment for some men with an enlarged prostate, using a waterjet to remove prostate tissue while aiming to preserve surrounding structures.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in reaching this milestone, from our clinical teams to the patients who have trusted us with their care.

And with Men’s Health Month coming up in November, there’s plenty more to talk about when it comes to men’s health.

You’ve had that dodgy knee for years.

You’ve learnt to live with it. You’ve got your little ways of managing it.

But when did "managing it" become your normal?

Constant joint pain or swelling doesn’t always have to be something you put up with...

Since the start of this week was World Arthritis Day, maybe it’s time to ask: could there be another option?
