🍂👢 Autumn Footwear & Foot Health! 👣

As the weather gets colder and we swap our sandals and trainers for boots, we often see an increase in patients suffering from painful corns at this time of year.

One of the biggest culprits? Poorly fitting footwear!

👢 Our top tips for autumn footwear:

🍁 Make sure your boots fit comfortably and aren't too narrow.

🍁 Choose footwear with plenty of room around your toes.

🍁 Avoid tight or pointed boots that squeeze your feet.

🍁 Remember, corns are often caused by repeated pressure and friction.

Your boots should protect your feet, not cause them pain! ❤️

If you've noticed a painful corn developing, don't ignore it. We can help relieve the discomfort and advise on preventing it from returning.

👣 Happy feet this autumn!

If you've visited our Sealand Road clinic, you've probably already met our beautiful Goldendoodle, Maggie.
Maggie's job is simple: to help you feel calm, relaxed and welcome from the moment you walk through our doors. Whether you're feeling nervous about treatment, anxious about your feet, or just need a friendly face, Maggie is always happy to offer a wagging tail, a cuddle, or simply sit quietly by your side.
We've seen first-hand how much comfort animals can bring, and Maggie has become a much-loved part of the Chester Foot Clinic family!
✨ She loves meeting our patients. ✨ She adores gentle fuss and cuddles. ✨ And yes... she accepts compliments on how gorgeous she is!

If you'd rather not have Maggie with you during your appointment, that's absolutely fine too—just let us know when you book, and we'll make sure she's relaxing elsewhere! Our Boughton Clinic is doggy free!

Have you met Maggie yet? We'd love to hear what you think of our four-legged team member! 🐾❤️

✨ A little progress photo we couldn't wait to share ✨
Fungal nail treatment isn't an overnight fix, but with the right treatment plan and a bit of patience, the results can be amazing.

My patient committed to their treatment and home care routine, and the improvement speaks for itself
If you've been hiding your feet, avoiding sandals, or feeling embarrassed about your nails, please know you're not alone. Fungal nail infections are incredibly common, and there are treatment options available.

Sometimes all it takes is that first appointment to get things moving in the right direction.
