I am currently knee deep in the research for my next book which is due to be submitted to my publisher next March.
In this book I try to make the argument that some of the most powerful drivers of our health, happiness and longevity aren’t exclusive to the usual suspects of diet, exercise, sleep and stress management, as vital as these pillars of health are.
Rather, what the research shows is that it is actually the subtler, and thus often more overlooked aspects of our lives, that can most powerfully impact upon our health, happiness and wellbeing.
For example, few of us would view our hobbies and passions, our career choices, how often we sit around the dinner table with those we love, how kind we are to others and how much gratitude we experience each day as clinical forms of medicine.
BUT THEY ARE; IN PROFOUNDLY POWERFUL WAYS!!!
For example, these kinds of elements have robust clinical evidence to show that they can powerfully impact upon everything from immune status and cardiovascular health to gene expression and even our risk of premature death, and everything in between.
Even more so, when we re-calibrate the architecture of our lives to ensure that these kinds of variables are taken into account and prioritised, it also powerfully transforms our levels of happiness, quality of life, life contentment and even relationship quality.
But they are so often ignored, which is ahuge mistake.
Thus if you are looking for the missing piece of the puzzle relevant to your health and wellbeing, your ability to prevent illness or even more so, your recover from disease, you might find the answer hiding not in other clinical protocol but rather in the architecture of your daily life, family, work and hobbies, to name but a few…
