I’m eating pretty clean right now to help lose weight and build muscle.

Not every day is perfect but as long as 80% of what I eat is good then I’m winning.

Keeping food simple and on rotation is also great for my productivity as I spend less time thinking about food. More time training and keeping my house in order is a big payoff.

I used to hang with some guys who were really into their mobility training.

Idk if they’d find this cringe or be proud now 😂

What I know is, I’m incredibly proud of myself.

My life has been rO.cK.y for the past 15 years.

Drugs, drink, poor relationships - friends and partners. I really explored the worst parts of myself.

But now I’m here.

In my OWN home. Homeowner 🏡 whaat?!

I have a garden 🤯

Great friends, a great job, and I’m actually developing myself.

It doesn’t matter what my starting point looks like or what old friends think.

What matters is what I think.

And that has taken the longest minute to realise.

I know I have a long way to go, but I’m so grateful I started.

Any of my PMOS girlies relate to this?

Raise your hands, cysters 🙋‍♀️

After a big lunch it’s typical for my energy to drop. It doesn’t happen all the time, for which I’m grateful. But today my delicious and filling chicken wrap and melon did me dirty.

Making a note of what is good for me helps.

Making a note of the portion sizes will help too.

I don’t think a smaller portion would have done this to me. So I’m going to trial having smaller portions over next week to see how things go.

I may need to cook up some mini meals as 11am and 3pm pick me ups. That is still to be seen 👀

Leave a comment if you relate or if it’s just me going crazy over here.

Eeek my first week has been so good 🥳

There’s so much I couldn’t fit into the video:

I had a week off work so was able to dedicate some time to making a PMOS friendly meal plan👩🏻‍🍳

I was able to do loads of DIY and make my home more beautiful 🥰

I read sooo much 📚

I fully relaxed and replenished my mind, body and spirit 😇

And I’ve been enjoying this! This is the thing that’s been niggling at the back of my mine - doing daily posts.

I finally admitted to myself - I want to be an influencer!

I feel like my brother and sisters are gunna find that cringe. But IDC guys! You know I’ve always done whatever I’ve wanted to do. And the cringe factor has stopped me in the past. 🙈

But no more! I’m stepping away from the cringe and fully embracing this part of my journey 🦸🏻‍♀️

I used to get teased for getting so happy over something so small. People would think I’m simple minded. But really, I just love the little things!

When we wait for big things to happen to make us happy, we spend the majority of our life feeling like something is missing. The little things happen everyday.

Take a moment to notice all the small things to be grateful for and you’ll find your life is much fuller than you realised.

My first full day of PMOS friendly eating and tracking how it made me feel. Am actually super pleased with myself that I’ve put in this effort to figure out how different foods either fuel me or make me feel sleepy.

If you’re struggling with PCOS/PMOS I would highly recommend keeping a note of what you’re eating and how you feel after it.

By researching this condition, I’ve learned it’s good to have small, regular meals throughout the day. I’ve always needed between meal snacks, and with training I thought I’d need to cut them down a bit. But actually knowing what my body needs and why, has helped me a great deal.

I need substantial snacks to help keep my blood glucose levels stable throughout the day. I need to do further research to fully understand this and insulin resistance. But at least I’m making a start to this long journey of discovery and healing.
